At Emory University, leaders spend lots of time catering to student needs. With one of the widest-spanning ecosystems of health across the nation, faculty take the time to realize not only how to optimize their medical success, but also their student well-being. They offer plenty of different resources including the ones below. To learn more, click the title. Burnout Awareness Articles Fitness Facilities Counseling Services A Safe Ride Home Lactation Rooms Emory has partnered with Lyft to allocate for students to get free rides home or to campus facilities. They included this program to prevent driving in exhaustion, intoxication, or fatigue. At Emory, counseling services are provided for varieties of reasons. Different services range from emergency hotlines to Well-being Check ins for reasons ranging from stress to divorce. Emory has four different fitness centers with prices ranging from $12-$36. These payments conduct on a monthly basis and offer classes and equipment. Different doctors from Emory University have come together to write different awareness Articles and memoirs depicting the stress of being in the healthcare world and the risks of burnout. Emory has over 16 lactation Rooms across campus. They offer a variety of clubs, leadership development, and social opportunities. Most students on campus are of African descent, with Hispanic being the 2nd most common ethnicity. GGC also has over 17 student services ranging from libraries to mental health counseling. There are also lots of services for students to get involved with, such as, different meetings focusing on certain interests of professors, students, and other staff members. Morehouse School Of Medicine Student life ____ Morehouse offers over 10 specific student services, however, they offer even more different leadership opportunities and clubs, ranging from fraternity life to student government. They also create lots of opportunities for alumni to revisit the campus and connect with the college, even after graduation. Because of Morehouse is a HBCU and a men's college, the demographics are less than diverse, with almost all students being black men. University of Georgia Student life ____ University of Georgia was rated number 1 in the nation for best student life on campus by Niche. This has been an ongoing trend for the last 6 years, where UGA was ranked close to the top by Niche because of its Greek life, academics, clubs, student organizations, sports, and intramurals. The majority of students on campus are white. Piedmont university Student life ____ Student life at Piedmont University is shaped by its small-campus environment and close-knit academic community. Located in the town of Demorest in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, the university offers students a setting that balances focused study with access to outdoor recreation.
